At Bega West Public School we deliver an excellent education in a friendly and nurturing environment. We are especially proud of our success in literacy and numeracy and our highly acclaimed music performing arts and sports program. We have an excellent tradition and are held in high esteem by the Bega Community. 

Our school provides a balanced education for all children across the six key learning areas.  We strive to identify and meet the needs of all students maximising their potential in a safe, happy, caring and challenging environment. As a NSW government school we are open and accountable in meeting local needs and statewide standards.

Professional and caring teachers

Our teachers are highly qualified, skilled and dedicated. We regard each child as special and provide learning programs and enrichment activities that meet individual needs and interests. Our staff includes specialist teachers in Learning Difficulties and Reading Recovery. We make sure that our teaching is inclusive of differing views and beliefs, reflective of contemporary Australian life and sensitive to the rich history shared by all Australians.
